What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to purchase supplies from a supplier other than Fitstop's approved suppliers, they must first provide Fitstop with a sample of each item they intend to purchase from the alternative supplier. This allows Fitstop to check the quality of the items to ensure they are appropriate for the franchise.
Fitstop will then assess the submitted samples to determine if they meet the required quality standards. If Fitstop finds any of the items unsuitable, they will notify the franchisee, who must then refrain from using those particular supplies in the Fitstop franchise.
Fitstop commits to using its best efforts to ensure that either they or a designated supplier will always have a supply of approved products available for sale to the franchisee. This process ensures that all supplies used in the Fitstop franchise meet the brand's standards, even if sourced from an alternative supplier, while also ensuring that approved products are consistently available.
