What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual convention is expected. To help franchisees manage the costs, Fitstop collects monthly contributions towards the convention expenses.
If a Fitstop franchisee or their General Manager fails to attend the annual convention, the franchisee will forfeit an amount equal to the attendance fee. Additionally, this non-attendance constitutes a material default of the Franchise Agreement. This means Fitstop could pursue further penalties or remedies specified in the agreement due to the breach.
Fitstop also requires franchisees and their General Managers to attend all seminars and supplementary trainings. The franchisee is responsible for covering all fees and costs associated with attending these events. This reinforces the importance Fitstop places on ongoing training and participation in network events for maintaining brand standards and operational consistency.
