What happens if a Fitstop franchisee purchases unapproved supplies?

s received from any Approved Suppliers and/or other providers/suppliers, whether or not such rebates or payments are made as a consequence of purchases by you.
- 12.4.7 Proposal to Use Alternate Sources of Supply. If you wish to purchase supplies from an alternative supplier, you must deliver to us a sample of each item of supplies proposed to be purchased from the alternative supplier. We may check those items to ensure that they are of an appropriate quality for the Franchise. We may notify you if any of the items are unsuitable for the Franchise in which case you must not use such supplies in the Franchise. We will use our best efforts to ensure that either we or a designated supplier will at all times have a supply of Approved Products for sale to you.
- 12.4.8 No Vending/Gaming Machines or Other Equipment at the Premises. You must not install at the Premises vending machines, newspaper racks, juke boxes, gum or candy machines, games, rides, phone boxes or any other type of machine without our prior written approval.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wishes to purchase supplies from an alternative supplier, they must provide a sample of each item to Fitstop. Fitstop may then check the items to ensure they are of appropriate quality for the franchise.
Fitstop will notify the franchisee if any of the items are unsuitable, in which case the franchisee must not use those supplies in the franchise. Fitstop commits to using its best efforts to ensure that either Fitstop itself or a designated supplier will always have a supply of approved products available for sale to the franchisee.
Fitstop retains the right to remove any printed matter, signs, posters, or other advertising material from the premises that it has not approved or that is not in a clean or satisfactory condition and state of repair. This ensures that all materials used in the Fitstop franchise meet the brand's standards and maintain a consistent image.
