If you or your General Manager do not attend the annual convention, an amount equal to their attendance fee will be forfeited and you will be in material default of this Agreement.

seminars, meetings, conferences and annual conventions. None of the fees, expenses, or charges associated with the initial training, supplementary trainings, seminars, meetings, conferences, and annual conventions are refundable.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual convention is important. To help franchisees manage the costs, Fitstop requires franchisees to remit a monthly contribution towards the convention.
If a Fitstop franchisee or their General Manager does not attend the annual convention, the franchisee will forfeit an amount equal to the attendance fee. Additionally, the franchisee will be considered in material default of the Franchise Agreement.
Fitstop also states that all expenses incurred in connection with the annual conventions are non-refundable. This includes traveling, living, compensation, and other expenses for the franchisee, their General Manager, and other personnel.
