What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee proposes to purchase supplies from an alternative supplier, they must provide a sample of each item to Fitstop for approval. Fitstop will then check the items to ensure they are of appropriate quality for the franchise.
If Fitstop determines that any of the items are unsuitable, the franchisee will be notified and is prohibited from using those supplies in the Fitstop franchise. However, Fitstop commits to using its best efforts to ensure that either Fitstop itself or a designated supplier will always have a supply of approved products available for sale to the franchisee.
This policy ensures that Fitstop maintains quality control and consistency across all franchise locations by regulating the supplies used. While franchisees have the option to propose alternative suppliers, Fitstop retains the right to reject any supplies that do not meet their standards. This protects the brand's reputation and ensures a uniform experience for customers.
