What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and their General Manager must attend all seminars and supplementary trainings. Fitstop may convene these seminars and supplementary trainings for the network of franchisees whenever it is considered reasonably necessary or appropriate. Fitstop determines the location, agenda, duration, and all procedures and formats of each seminar and supplementary training.

The franchisee is solely responsible for the payment of all fees and costs related to these seminars and supplementary trainings. This means the franchisee will need to budget not only for the direct costs of the training but also for travel, accommodation, and any other related expenses for both themselves and their General Manager.

Fitstop also convenes meetings, conferences, and annual conventions for franchisees or groups of franchisees, and both the franchisee and their General Manager must attend these events as well. The franchisee is again solely responsible for all fees and costs related to these meetings, conferences, and annual conventions. To help franchisees manage the costs of the annual convention, Fitstop may require a monthly contribution.
