What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are several restrictions placed on franchisees regarding the operation of their business. Fitstop franchisees are restricted from installing vending machines, newspaper racks, juke boxes, gum or candy machines, games, rides, phone boxes, or any other type of machine at the premises without prior written approval from Fitstop. This ensures that the facility maintains a consistent brand image and service offering.

Fitstop franchisees must only use stationery that conforms to Fitstop's style. Franchisees must adhere to Fitstop's social media policy as described in the manuals, and any social media activity not conforming to the manuals requires written approval. Franchisees are prohibited from disparaging Fitstop or other franchisees on social media or posting anything that brings harm or disrepute to the Franchise System, with violations considered a material breach of the agreement. This is to protect the brand's reputation and maintain a positive image across all platforms.

Fitstop franchisees must only provide approved services and products at and from the approved premises, unless otherwise agreed in writing. They are not allowed to market the franchised business or solicit potential customers outside of their designated territory. This is designed to protect each franchisee's market area and prevent overlap or competition between locations. Fitstop retains the right to modify the system via manuals or written notice, and franchisees must strictly adhere to and act in conformity with these modifications.
