What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at meetings, conferences, and annual conventions is mandatory for both the franchisee and their General Manager. Fitstop determines the location, agenda, duration, procedures, and formats of these events and will provide reasonable written notice.
The franchisee is responsible for covering all fees and costs associated with attending these events. To help manage the expenses of the annual convention, Fitstop franchisees remit a monthly contribution. If the franchisee or their General Manager fails to attend the annual convention, the amount equal to their attendance fee will be forfeited, and the franchisee will be in material default of the Franchise Agreement.
Fitstop may also convene seminars and supplementary trainings for the network of franchisees when deemed necessary or appropriate. Attendance at these seminars and supplementary trainings is also mandatory for the franchisee and their General Manager, with the franchisee responsible for all related fees and costs. The franchisor determines the specifics of these seminars and trainings.
