What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must hire and train enough staff to properly manage the franchise and offer polite and competent support to customers. Fitstop may use a Mystery Shopper to assess the franchise's performance when deemed necessary.

Fitstop requires franchisees to correct any flaws, shortcomings, or unsatisfactory conditions in the franchise's appearance or operation within 24 hours of receiving notification from them. Franchisees must also develop and maintain a brand and reputation for the franchise that meets the standards outlined in the Franchise Agreement, manuals, and other specifications provided by Fitstop.

These stipulations are typical in franchising, as they help to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. Fitstop retains the right to send representatives to the premises at any time at its sole discretion. This enables Fitstop to monitor compliance and provide assistance as needed, but it also means franchisees must be prepared for unannounced visits.
