What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Training Fee is due 'on demand and as directed by us.' The Training Fee covers the cost of training for authorized instructors. Currently, the training fee is $1,500 for each individual the franchisee wishes to engage and appoint as an Authorized Instructor. There is also a fee of $500 per day per trainer for any training beyond the Initial Training Program.

Fitstop may require franchisees to participate in additional training programs or seek assistance, incurring further Training Fees. The FDD specifies that Fitstop is willing to provide System Instructor Training remotely to the franchisee and up to four additional individuals that the franchisee determines to engage as initial Authorized Instructors, provided these individuals complete the training before performing any Approved Services to any Franchised Business clientele.

Prospective franchisees should note that the timing of these payments is not fixed but rather determined by Fitstop. This means franchisees need to be prepared to pay these fees whenever Fitstop demands them. It is important for potential franchisees to factor these costs and the potential for ongoing training expenses into their financial planning.
