What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any personnel a franchisee wishes to provide fitness training, instruction, classes, or other approved services involving fitness training must participate in and successfully complete Fitstop's proprietary Instructor Training program before providing such services. These personnel are referred to as "Authorized Instructors."

Fitstop will provide Instructor Training to up to five prospective Authorized Instructors tuition-free as part of the initial franchise fee when the franchised business opens. Franchisees must notify Fitstop in writing of any replacement or new personnel they want to serve as Authorized Instructors. These individuals must complete the Instructor Training before providing any approved services. Fitstop may charge its then-current training fee for such Instructor Training, which will be provided via remote training or other methods.

In addition to completing the Instructor Training, personnel must also meet all other criteria to serve as an Authorized Instructor, as detailed in the manuals or in writing. Fitstop retains the right to modify the Franchise System, including brand standards, trademarks, confidential information, products, and services. Franchisees are obligated to comply with these changes at their own expense.
