What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must meet pre-opening requirements before receiving Initial On-Site Training. Fitstop expects to provide this training to each franchisee and their initial Authorized Instructor team after the franchisee completes Corporate Training and demonstrates that all other pre-opening requirements under the Franchise Agreement have been satisfied. Fitstop typically requires the franchisee, their management, and initial staff of Authorized Instructors to complete Initial On-Site Training around the time of the Franchised Business opening.
Fitstop will not typically provide Initial On-Site Training until the franchisee demonstrates that they have secured a Certificate of Occupancy for their Premises and have taken all necessary steps to open the Franchised Business to the public. Failure to complete all required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction may result in default and potential termination of the Franchise Agreement.
This means that a Fitstop franchisee must prioritize securing their location, obtaining necessary certifications, and fulfilling all other obligations outlined in the Franchise Agreement before they can receive the on-site training necessary to launch their business. This ensures that franchisees are fully prepared and compliant with Fitstop's standards before opening to the public, which protects the brand's reputation and the franchisee's investment.
