What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure the Franchised Business has a dedicated phone line for use only in connection with the Fitstop business. This phone line cannot be used for any other business, including another Fitstop location.
This requirement is part of the local marketing obligations for Fitstop franchisees. In addition to having a dedicated phone line, the franchisee must also ensure the business is listed in Internet-based directories designated in the Manuals or otherwise specified by Fitstop.
These measures help ensure that the Fitstop location can be easily contacted by potential and current members, and that all communications are directly related to the Fitstop business. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it helps maintain brand consistency and ensures customers can easily reach the correct location for inquiries or support.
