What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Fitstop Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 6, which outlines other fees, does not specify any fees related to dispute resolution. The item details various fees such as training fees, technology fees, transfer-related fees, and renewal fees.

The training fees include $1,500 for instructor training and $500 per day per trainer for additional training beyond the initial program. The technology fee is 2% of gross revenue, with an additional $12 to $15 per month for extra email accounts. Transfer-related fees range from $750 to $25,000 depending on the nature of the transfer. The renewal fee is $20,000, contingent upon meeting certain preconditions.

Since dispute resolution fees are not mentioned in Item 6, a prospective franchisee should review other sections of the FDD, such as Item 17 (Renewal, Termination, Transfer and Dispute Resolution), to ascertain if dispute resolution costs are addressed elsewhere. It would also be prudent to directly ask Fitstop about potential dispute resolution costs and procedures during the due diligence process to fully understand the financial implications of potential disputes.
