What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop expects franchisees to keep their Franchised Business open during the hours when the majority of System businesses are open, or as recommended in the Operations Manual. However, as an independent contractor, a Fitstop franchisee may deviate from these recommended hours under certain conditions.

Specifically, a franchisee can adjust their operating hours if local regulations or landlord restrictions affect their ability to operate actively. Additionally, a franchisee can deviate from the recommended hours if they provide Fitstop with written notice of their intended hours and an explanation for any significant deviation.

This flexibility allows Fitstop franchisees to adapt their business to local market conditions and specific operational challenges, while still aligning with the overall System standards. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the typical operating hours of other Fitstop locations and to consider any local factors that might necessitate a change in those hours. Communicating any planned deviations clearly to Fitstop is essential to maintain a good working relationship and ensure compliance with the franchise agreement.
