What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop may engage a Mystery Shopper to evaluate the conduct of the Franchise when they consider it necessary. This evaluation is part of ensuring franchisees adhere to Fitstop's brand standards and policies for uniform operation, which Fitstop deems critical to the success of the franchise system.
For a prospective Fitstop franchisee, this means that at any point during the franchise agreement, Fitstop can employ a Mystery Shopper to assess the franchisee's adherence to brand standards, customer service, and overall operational conduct. This assessment can occur without prior notice, emphasizing the importance of consistently maintaining high standards.
The franchisee is expected to hire and train sufficient personnel to handle the Franchise adequately and provide courteous service. If the Mystery Shopper identifies any defects, deficiencies, or unsatisfactory conditions, the franchisee must correct them within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving notice from Fitstop. This highlights the need for franchisees to be proactive in maintaining standards and responsive to feedback from Fitstop to avoid potential issues identified through Mystery Shopper evaluations.
