What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their employees fully cooperate with Fitstop representatives during visits to the Franchised Business operations.
Fitstop has the right to visit, inspect, observe, and report on the operation of the Franchised Business, with or without notice to the franchisee, determining the times, frequency, and duration of these visits at their sole discretion. The franchisee themselves must be present during these visits if Fitstop requests it with prior notice, and they must cooperate fully with Fitstop personnel during the visits.
Franchisees are also obligated to provide Fitstop representatives with any requested information, reports, accounts, books, records, orders, receipts, statements, and access to the Franchise's computers and computer records. This requirement ensures Fitstop can adequately monitor and evaluate the franchisee's adherence to the Franchise System and brand standards. Failure to ensure employee cooperation could result in the franchisee being found in breach of the franchise agreement.
