What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Required Items are the furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies, inventory, Required Software and services that Fitstop designates in the Manuals or otherwise in writing. These items are needed to build out and operate the Franchised Business according to Fitstop's System standards and specifications. Franchisees must acquire these Required Items from the Approved Supplier, if any, that Fitstop designates in writing.
Fitstop has the right, but not the obligation, to appoint themselves, their affiliates, or any other third party as an Approved Supplier for one or more Required Items. Fitstop will provide prior written notice of these appointments via the Manuals or other written communication.
If a Fitstop franchisee wishes to purchase supplies from an alternative supplier, they must provide a sample of each item to Fitstop for approval. Fitstop will check the items to ensure they are of appropriate quality for the franchise. If the items are unsuitable, Fitstop will notify the franchisee, and the franchisee must not use those supplies in the Franchise. Fitstop will use its best efforts to ensure that either they or a designated supplier will at all times have a supply of Approved Products for sale to franchisees.
