What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Fitstop Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop does not have to designate Approved Suppliers. However, Fitstop will provide a list of Approved Products, Approved Services, Required Items, and Approved Suppliers to the franchisee to the extent that they have designated them.

Fitstop retains the right to approve or disapprove a franchisee's requests to purchase and/or offer non-approved products or services in connection with the Franchised Business. Fitstop also has the right to approve or disapprove requests to make Required Purchases from suppliers other than Fitstop's then-current Approved Suppliers.

This means that while Fitstop may suggest or approve certain suppliers, they are not obligated to do so. However, franchisees are subject to Fitstop's approval regarding which products and services they can offer and from whom they can purchase required items. This allows Fitstop to maintain quality and consistency across all franchise locations, while also providing some flexibility for franchisees to propose alternative suppliers or products.
