What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, individuals must complete the System Instructor Training before they can provide Approved Services to clients of the Franchised Business. Fitstop is willing to provide this training remotely to the franchisee and up to four additional individuals that the franchisee wishes to appoint as initial Authorized Instructors. This is contingent upon these individuals completing the training before providing any Approved Services. The training fee is $1,500 for each individual to become an Authorized Instructor.
This requirement ensures that all instructors are properly trained in the Fitstop system and can deliver consistent, high-quality services to customers. By mandating this training, Fitstop aims to maintain its brand standards and protect its reputation.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that they need to factor in the time and cost associated with the System Instructor Training when planning the launch of their Fitstop franchise. They must ensure that they and their initial instructors complete the training before commencing operations and offering services to clients. This upfront investment in training is essential for compliance and for providing the Approved Services that are part of the Fitstop franchise model.
