What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Premises' refers to the physical location where the Fitstop franchise will operate. Fitstop provides site selection guidelines and assistance to franchisees in choosing a suitable location. Fitstop must approve the site a franchisee proposes.
Fitstop offers on-site assistance and training at the franchisee's Premises, referred to as 'On-Site Assistance'. Before Fitstop provides on-site training, the franchisee must meet certain conditions, including expending required amounts on marketing and pre-opening sales activities, establishing an EFT account, obtaining required insurance coverages, and providing signed copies of agreements and contracts.
Fitstop typically does not provide Initial On-Site Training until the franchisee secures a Certificate of Occupancy for the Premises and takes all necessary steps to open the franchise to the public. The franchisee and their initial staff of Authorized Instructors must complete Initial On-Site Training when it is provided around the opening of the franchise. Failure to complete the required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction may result in default and termination of the Franchise Agreement.
