What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Initial On-Site Training is on-site training, assistance, and support that the franchisee, their management, their initial management team, and the franchised business personnel involved in initial operations must participate in and complete to Fitstop's satisfaction. Fitstop may provide this training at or around the time the franchised business has its contemplated soft opening.

Fitstop typically does not provide Initial On-Site Training until the franchisee demonstrates that they have secured a Certificate of Occupancy for their premises and have taken all necessary steps to open their franchised business to the public. Fitstop typically requires the franchisee, their management, and their initial staff of authorized instructors to complete Initial On-Site Training when it is provided around the opening of the franchised business. Failure to complete all required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction may result in default and termination of the Franchise Agreement.

The franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with completing the Initial On-Site Training, including personnel and trainee wages. Fitstop may condition the franchisee's ability to receive Initial On-Site Training on several pre-conditions, including expending required amounts on marketing and pre-opening sales activities, establishing access to the franchisee's EFT Account, obtaining required insurance coverages, and providing completed copies of agreements and contracts attached to the Franchise Agreement.
