What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop does not currently have a set training schedule. However, Fitstop expects to provide corporate training on an as-needed basis once each franchisee has completed any introductory Remote Training and complied with the Pre-Training Conditions. Initial On-Site Initial Training is expected to be provided on an as-needed basis to each franchisee and its initial Authorized Instructor team after the franchisee has completed the Corporate Training and demonstrated that all other pre-opening requirements under the Franchise Agreement have been satisfied. Fitstop expects to provide Initial On-Site Assistance around the time of the franchisee's contemplated soft opening or in the week preceding it.
Fitstop may condition a franchisee's ability to attend Corporate Training and/or Fitstop providing any Initial On-Site Training. These conditions include expending the required amounts on marketing and pre-opening sales activities, undertaking all steps to establish and provide Fitstop with access to the franchisee's EFT Account, demonstrating that the franchisee has obtained all required insurance coverages, and providing Fitstop with completed and signed copies of all agreements and contracts that are attached as Exhibits to the Franchise Agreement.
Fitstop also may require franchisees and their Designated Managers to attend annual additional/refresher courses or remedial training as deemed necessary. Franchisees may have to pay Fitstop's then-current Training Fee, which is currently $500/day per trainer, for any Additional/Remedial Training that franchisees and their employees attend. Franchisees will also be solely responsible for all expenses incurred in attending Additional/Remedial Training.
