What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the current training fee for Authorized Instructors is $1,500. This fee applies to any Authorized Instructor beyond the initial team. Fitstop may provide instructional training to personnel that the franchisee wishes to appoint as Authorized Instructors, so they can provide approved services at the franchisee's location. This training will be consistent with Fitstop's current system standards and specifications, as outlined in the manual or in writing. As of the issue date of the FDD, Fitstop expects and intends to provide this training remotely.
This means that if a Fitstop franchisee needs to train additional instructors beyond the initial team, they will incur a cost of $1,500 per instructor. This fee is in addition to any other costs the franchisee incurs for personnel training. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor this cost into their operating budget, especially if they anticipate a high turnover rate among instructors or plan to expand their service offerings.
It is also important to note that Fitstop reserves the right to change the training fee in the future. Therefore, prospective franchisees should confirm the current training fee with Fitstop before signing the franchise agreement. Additionally, franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred while attending any additional or remedial training.
