What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to attend additional or remedial training courses deemed necessary by Fitstop. If such training is required, Fitstop may charge its then-current Training Fee. As of the FDD's issue date, this fee is $500 per day per trainer.

This means that if Fitstop determines a franchisee or their designated manager needs extra training, whether as a refresher or to correct a default under the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee will be responsible for paying this daily training fee. This is in addition to any other expenses incurred while attending the training, such as travel and accommodation.

It is important for prospective Fitstop franchisees to understand that this cost can add up quickly, especially if multiple trainers or extended training periods are required. Franchisees should factor in the potential for these additional training expenses when assessing the overall cost of the franchise and consider discussing the circumstances that might trigger such training with Fitstop during their due diligence.
