What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee and up to two additional individuals, including a designated General Manager, can attend the Initial Training Program without incurring a Training Fee. This benefit is contingent upon attending and completing all components of the Initial Training Program to Fitstop's satisfaction. This must occur before the franchisee opens their Fitstop location or begins providing approved services or products.
If there is a change in the Franchise Operator or General Manager in the future, the new individual must enroll in and successfully complete the necessary parts of the Initial Training Program. Fitstop retains the right to charge its then-current Training Fee for any training provided under these circumstances. This ensures that all operators and managers are properly trained in Fitstop's methods.
This policy encourages franchisees to have their key personnel fully trained from the outset, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to Fitstop's standards. However, franchisees should be aware that any subsequent changes in personnel requiring training may incur additional fees. It is also important to note that while the initial training is provided without a specific "Training Fee", franchisees are still responsible for covering all traveling, living, compensation, and other expenses associated with attending the training.
