What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial On-Site Training is a mandatory component that you, your management, your initial management team, and the Franchised Business personnel involved in the initial operations, referred to as the "Initial Trainee Team," must participate in and complete to Fitstop's satisfaction. Fitstop expects to provide this training at or around the time the Franchised Business has its contemplated soft opening.

Additionally, any individual you appoint as an Authorized Instructor at the start of your Fitstop franchise must attend all portions of the Initial On-Site Training. This training is provided to you and your Franchised Business personnel around the time of your planned opening.

Failure to ensure that all required initial training is completed to Fitstop's satisfaction may lead to a default and potential termination of the Franchise Agreement if the default is not resolved. Fitstop also states that they will not typically provide any Initial On-Site Training until you demonstrate that you have secured a Certificate of Occupancy with respect to your Premises and have otherwise undertaken all steps and actions necessary to otherwise open your Franchised Business to the public.
