What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Required Items are communicated to franchisees through the Manuals or in writing. These items include furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies, inventory, Required Software, and services necessary for building and operating the Franchised Business. Franchisees must acquire these Required Items from Approved Suppliers, if any, designated by Fitstop in the Manuals or in writing.
Fitstop may modify the standards and specifications for these Required Items, potentially requiring franchisees to purchase new equipment, supplies, or furnishings. Franchisees are obligated to implement these changes at their own expense within 180 days of receiving notice of a formal roll-out applicable to all similarly-situated System franchisees. This ensures that all Fitstop locations maintain consistent standards and adapt to any necessary updates.
Fitstop also retains the right to appoint themselves, their affiliates, or any third party as an Approved Supplier for one or more Required Items. This designation is communicated to franchisees through prior written notice via the Manuals or other written communication. This allows Fitstop to control the supply chain and ensure quality and consistency across all franchise locations.
