What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any individual providing fitness training, classes, or instruction at your Fitstop franchise must first complete the brand's proprietary Instructor Training program and meet all other criteria to become an Authorized Instructor. This requirement applies to all fitness-related services offered at the franchise.
This means that as a Fitstop franchisee, you cannot allow just anyone to conduct fitness training. All instructors must undergo and successfully complete Fitstop's specific training program before they can provide these services. This ensures that all instructors meet Fitstop's standards and are qualified to deliver the brand's fitness programs.
The cost for Instructor Training is not specified in this excerpt, but it is mentioned that training fees are payable to Fitstop. As a franchisee, you are responsible for ensuring that all personnel meet the required training standards before they are authorized to provide fitness services. This protects the brand's reputation and ensures consistent service quality across all Fitstop locations.
It is important to note that Fitstop retains the right to modify the Franchise System, including brand standards. This means that the requirements for Authorized Instructors and the content of the Instructor Training program could change over time. As a franchisee, you would be obligated to comply with any such changes at your own cost.
