Am I allowed to accept business from members outside my designated Fitstop territory?

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees can accept business from members outside their designated territory under specific conditions. Fitstop allows franchisees to accept business and inquiries from prospective and existing members, as long as the franchisee adheres to certain limitations.

Specifically, the franchisee must only provide approved services and products at and from the approved premises, unless Fitstop agrees otherwise in a separate, signed agreement. This means that while you can serve members from outside your territory, you must do so at your physical Fitstop location.

However, a Fitstop franchisee is prohibited from marketing the franchised business or soliciting potential customers or members outside of their designated territory. Therefore, while you can accept business from those outside your territory, you cannot actively pursue or target them with marketing efforts outside your designated area.
