What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop will submit a notice of violation to the address described in the Franchise Summary, also known as the "Franchisee Address." This address is where the franchisee will receive official communications from Fitstop regarding any potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
The FDD also states that either party can change the address for receiving notices by providing written notice to the other party. This ensures that all communications are sent to the correct and current address. It is the franchisee's responsibility to keep Fitstop informed of any changes to their address to avoid missing important notices.
Fitstop can terminate the agreement if a violation is not cured within 30 calendar days after Fitstop submits a notice of violation to the franchisee's address indicated in the Franchise Summary. This highlights the importance of the franchisee maintaining an accurate and up-to-date address with Fitstop, as failure to receive a notice does not negate the franchisee's responsibility to cure the violation.
