According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop does not accept responsibility for the suitability of the premises for the operation of the franchise. The franchisee bears the responsibility of ensuring the location is appropriate for conducting the Fitstop business.

Before a Fitstop franchisee can begin operations at a location, Fitstop must confirm in writing that the premises have been properly erected or converted and improved with the necessary equipment and furnishings to meet Fitstop's specifications. Additionally, the franchisee must obtain all necessary consents for conducting the franchised business from the premises.

Fitstop requires franchisees to use their best efforts to locate and secure a lease agreement for a premises within the designated territory that Fitstop approves within six months of the agreement's effective date. As part of this process, franchisees are responsible for inspecting prospective premises, reporting back to Fitstop weekly with details of the inspected premises, considering potential premises suggested by Fitstop, and engaging an agent approved by Fitstop to assist in locating an appropriate premises if deemed necessary by Fitstop.
