What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Fat Shack FDD, Fat Shack offers guidance to franchisees regarding the standards and specifications for equipment, supplies, and materials used in their restaurants. This assistance includes providing a list of approved and designated suppliers. Fat Shack may also provide a description of any national or central purchase and supply agreements that these approved suppliers offer to franchisees.
Fat Shack will also advise franchisees about approved suppliers of fixtures, supplies, equipment, menu boards, posters, interior signs and graphics, and materials used in and products sold through the Fat Shack Restaurant. However, Fat Shack does not install any of these items for the franchisee.
This information is valuable for prospective franchisees as it outlines the support Fat Shack provides in sourcing necessary items to operate the franchise. Franchisees can benefit from the franchisor's established relationships with suppliers, potentially leading to cost savings and ensuring quality and consistency across all Fat Shack locations. It is important to note that franchisees are responsible for the installation of these items.
