What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Fat Shack Franchise Disclosure Document, Fat Shack does not install fixtures, supplies, or equipment for its franchisees. However, Fat Shack will advise franchisees about approved suppliers of fixtures, supplies, equipment, menu boards, posters, interior signs and graphics, and materials used in and products sold through the Fat Shack Restaurant.

This means that while Fat Shack provides guidance on where to source these items, the franchisee is responsible for the actual installation. This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as it allows the franchisee to manage the installation process and potentially negotiate costs with local contractors.

Prospective franchisees should factor in the cost of installation when budgeting for their initial investment. They should also ensure they understand Fat Shack's standards and specifications for the restaurant's build-out to ensure compliance.
