What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Fat Shack's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, several key contracts are attached. These include the Franchise Agreement itself, which outlines the terms and conditions for operating a Fat Shack restaurant. Additionally, the Development Agreement is included, which pertains to franchisees who purchase a protected area to open multiple Fat Shack locations.
Another crucial contract is the Nondisclosure and Noncompetition Agreement. This agreement likely contains provisions to protect Fat Shack's confidential information and prevent franchisees from engaging in competitive activities during and after the franchise term. Finally, the disclosure document includes state addenda to the franchise disclosure document.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review all these attachments to fully understand their rights and obligations under the Fat Shack franchise system. Understanding the terms of each agreement is essential before making any commitments.
