What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Fat Shack's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the Fat Shack restaurant has opened, a franchisee can send required notices to Fat Shack Inc. (FSI) at the physical address set forth in the first paragraph of the franchise agreement. Conversely, FSI can send notices to the franchisee at the physical address set forth below the franchisee's signature to the agreement, or at the restaurant location specified in the addendum.
In addition to physical addresses, both parties can send notices via email to the addresses provided below each party's signature in the agreement. Both FSI and the franchisee can also designate other addresses for notice in writing from time to time.
The document specifies how notice is considered effectively given. If delivered personally or by email, notice is effective immediately upon delivery. If sent via mail, notice is effective three days after being deposited in the United States mail with proper address and postage prepaid. For overnight delivery services that provide documentation of receipt, notice is effective one day after deposit with the delivery service.
