Where does Fat Shack conduct the initial training for franchisees?

Initial Training. Before the opening of your FAT SHACK Restaurant, you or your General Manager must attend and complete to our satisfaction the initial training program. This training program is typically conducted no later than 30 days before the opening of your Restaurant. We do not charge you for this training for up to three individuals, although you pay the travel, living expenses and wages for you and all employees who attend the training session.
All training is currently conducted in the Fort Collins, Colorado or Denver, Colorado metro areas, however we may elect to conduct training at another location on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. The training includes classroom training and on-the-job training at our affiliate's FAT SHACK Restaurant in Fort Collins, Colorado unless we agree to hands-on training at another FAT SHACK Restaurant location. The initial training program lasts approximately three to four days.

However, Fat Shack may choose to conduct training at another location on a case-by-case basis, at their discretion. The training includes both classroom instruction and on-the-job training at Fat Shack's affiliate restaurant in Fort Collins, Colorado, unless hands-on training is arranged at another Fat Shack location.
For prospective franchisees, this means that they should plan to travel to the Colorado area for the initial training. While there is a possibility of training being conducted elsewhere, it is not guaranteed and depends on Fat Shack's decision. Franchisees are responsible for covering their own travel, living expenses, and wages, as well as those of their employees attending the training. Fat Shack does not charge tuition for the initial training program for up to three individuals.
The initial training program lasts approximately three to four days, so franchisees should allocate sufficient time for this intensive training period before opening their Fat Shack restaurant. This initial training is mandatory for the franchisee or their General Manager to complete to Fat Shack's satisfaction before the restaurant can open. If a franchisee is opening their first Fat Shack restaurant, Fat Shack also provides up to 30 days of on-site training at the franchisee's location to assist with the opening.
