What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Fat Shack's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the costs of any modifications required to bring their advertising and promotional materials into compliance with Fat Shack's standards and specifications. Specifically, if a franchisee creates advertising or promotional materials that have not been pre-approved by Fat Shack or its approved vendor, the franchisee must submit these materials for approval.

Should Fat Shack require changes to these materials to meet their standards, the franchisee will be responsible for paying the costs associated with these modifications. This requirement ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with the brand's established image and guidelines.

This cost responsibility extends to participation in promotional campaigns, prize contests, special offers, and discount programs, where franchisees must participate at their sole cost, unless exempted by Fat Shack or prohibited by law. Franchisees are also responsible for honoring coupons, gift certificates, gift cards, and other authorized promotional offers prescribed by Fat Shack, unless otherwise agreed upon.
