What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must participate in the franchisor's franchise advertising program (FAP) by paying a continuing monthly fee (the FAP Fee). This fee is paid to the franchisor no later than the 10th day of each month for the prior month's advertising. The FAP is designed by Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs for the benefit of all franchisees and company-owned units, with the franchisor maintaining exclusive rights to operate it.
The FAP Fee is subject to change based on the franchisor's advertising costs. Currently, the FAP Fee is $150 per month for a Kiosk location and $175 per month for an Inline Store. Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs retains the right to increase the FAP Fee on an annual basis, but the total increase cannot exceed 15% per year.
Through the FAP, Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs provides franchisees with marketing and promotional materials (via electronic means or otherwise) at cost. Franchisees are obligated to use only approved advertising materials under the brand's marks, and all advertising materials (print, media, or web-based) must receive prior approval from the franchisor. Franchisees must submit proposed advertising copies to Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs at least 15 days before the intended use date. The franchisor then has 10 days to approve or disapprove the materials; failure to respond within this timeframe constitutes approval. Additionally, any website maintained by the franchisee must adhere to the franchisor's policies and be ADA-compliant.
