What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before opening a service center, a franchisee must obtain all required state, local, and other government certifications, permits, and licenses. The franchisee is then required to furnish copies of these documents to Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs. This is a standard practice in franchising, ensuring that all franchisees operate legally and meet local regulatory requirements.
This requirement is part of the pre-opening obligations that a franchisee must fulfill. Besides providing the necessary certifications, permits, and licenses, the franchisee must also furnish copies of all required insurance policies, attend and successfully complete the initial training, pay any due amounts, execute all required agreements for opening, and not be in default under any agreement with Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs or its affiliates. They also need to be current with all contracts with their principal vendors, suppliers, and other business creditors, including their landlord.
Failure to comply with these pre-opening obligations, including providing copies of all required certifications, permits, and licenses, will prevent the franchisee from obtaining Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs's written approval to open the service center. The franchisor states that it will not unreasonably withhold this approval, but compliance with all listed requirements is mandatory for opening the Fast Fix Jewelry And Watch Repairs business.
