What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a transferee must successfully attend and complete any training programs in effect for operators at their own expense. The terms and conditions of the training programs will be those that Face Foundrie reasonably requires.

In addition to training costs, the transferee must demonstrate that the transfer doesn't create an unreasonable financial or operational burden and must meet Face Foundrie's current application qualifications. The transferee also needs to agree in writing to take on all of the franchisee's duties and obligations, potentially including executing the current franchise agreement with terms that may differ from the original agreement, possibly with higher or additional fees.

The transferee may also need to cover a transfer fee. This fee is the greater of $10,000 or the reimbursement for all legal, accounting, training, and other expenses Face Foundrie incurs during the transfer. Therefore, a prospective Face Foundrie franchisee needs to be aware of these costs and training requirements when considering a franchise transfer.
