What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses and wages incurred in connection with any replacement Operating Partner attending training sessions. The franchisee is also responsible for Face Foundrie's training fee for the replacement Operating Partner. The replacement Operating Partner must successfully complete the initial training program no more than thirty (30) days after being appointed. However, Face Foundrie may offer an abbreviated training program for approved successor or replacement Salon Managers who previously served in designated positions at the Facial Bar.

This means that if the initial Operating Partner leaves or is no longer qualified, the franchisee must designate a new Operating Partner within thirty days, and that new Operating Partner must complete the training program. The franchisee will have to cover all costs associated with this training, including travel, lodging, and wages for the replacement Operating Partner, as well as any training fees charged by Face Foundrie.

This could represent a significant, unplanned expense for the franchisee. It is important to factor in the potential costs of replacing and training an Operating Partner when assessing the overall financial viability of the Face Foundrie franchise. Franchisees should also inquire about the typical duration and cost of the initial and any abbreviated training programs to better estimate these potential expenses.
