What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Operating Partner and Personnel may be required to attend various training courses, trade shows, ongoing education or certification programs, and/or webinars at the times and locations designated by Face Foundrie, including those provided by third parties or by Face Foundrie and its affiliates. Additionally, Face Foundrie may require the Franchisee, the Operating Partner, and/or one or more of the managers of the Facial Bar to attend conferences offered by Face Foundrie.
This means that as a Face Foundrie franchisee, you, your operating partner, your salon manager, and other personnel may need to participate in additional training programs, trade shows, or webinars that Face Foundrie deems necessary. These programs could be conducted by Face Foundrie, its affiliates, or even third-party providers. The specific content, timing, and location of these events are determined by Face Foundrie.
The franchisee is responsible for all costs associated with ongoing education and training, including reimbursement of Face Foundrie's trainers' travel and living expenses for additional training. The franchisee also covers all travel, living expenses, and wages for their personnel attending any training sessions or conferences. Furthermore, Face Foundrie reserves the right to charge fees for training programs beyond the initial training for the franchisee and their original Operating Partner, especially if they determine that the staff is not adequately trained before the Facial Bar opens.
Prospective franchisees should consider these potential ongoing costs when evaluating the Face Foundrie franchise opportunity. It is important to budget for these expenses and to discuss with Face Foundrie the typical frequency, duration, and cost of these required training and educational events to fully understand the financial implications.
