What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Face Foundrie has the right to mandate that employees undergo additional training programs periodically. This applies specifically to employees trained by a manager-level employee who has been certified by Face Foundrie. The FDD states that Face Foundrie may test employees trained by such certified trainers and require them to complete additional training.
This additional training comes at a cost to the franchisee. Face Foundrie charges a training fee for these additional programs, which is currently $400 per trainer per day, in addition to any out-of-pocket expenses incurred. This means that franchisees must budget not only for the time their employees spend in training but also for the direct costs of the training itself.
This requirement ensures that all employees, regardless of who provides their initial training, meet Face Foundrie's standards. While this protects the brand's reputation and service quality, it also places an additional financial and operational burden on the franchisee. Franchisees should factor in these potential ongoing training costs when evaluating the overall investment and profitability of a Face Foundrie franchise.
