What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must obtain prior written consent from Face Foundrie before relocating their Facial Bar. To request a relocation, the franchisee must submit a written request to Face Foundrie at least 60 days before the intended relocation date, specifying the new location. This request must be accompanied by a Relocation Fee of $1,000.
It's important to note that the new location must be within the franchisee's existing territory and cannot be within any territory granted to another Face Foundrie franchisee. In addition to the Relocation Fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering any additional expenses that Face Foundrie incurs while facilitating the relocation.
This policy ensures that Face Foundrie maintains control over the placement of its Facial Bars and protects the territories of its franchisees. The $1,000 Relocation Fee is relatively modest compared to the potential costs associated with moving a business, such as leasehold improvements, marketing, and operational disruptions. Franchisees should carefully consider these costs and the potential benefits of relocation before making a decision.
