Any signs containing the Marks that Franchisee is unable to remove within one (1) day of the termination or expiration of this Agreement shall be completely covered by Franchisee until the time of their removal, which shall be in any event within ten (10) days following the expiration or termination of this Agreement;

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, franchisees must discontinue all use of Face Foundrie's marks, including on the premises and on any vehicles. This includes removing all signs, products, equipment, and other items bearing the marks.
Specifically, any signs containing Face Foundrie's marks that a franchisee cannot remove within one day of termination or expiration must be completely covered. The franchisee then has up to ten days following the termination or expiration to remove the signs entirely.
This requirement ensures that upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the public will not be misled into thinking that the franchisee is still affiliated with the Face Foundrie brand. Franchisees are responsible for all costs associated with these modifications. Failure to comply allows Face Foundrie to make the changes themselves and charge the franchisee for the expenses incurred.
