What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase opening inventory and supplies from designated or approved suppliers. While Face Foundrie or its affiliates provide a portion of the initial opening package, franchisees are required to obtain the remaining opening inventory and supplies from suppliers listed on Face Foundrie's current designated or approved supplier list.
This requirement ensures that all Face Foundrie locations maintain consistent quality and standards in their products and services. By mandating the use of approved suppliers, Face Foundrie aims to control the quality of goods used in the facial bars, which can impact the customer experience and brand reputation.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they will have limited flexibility in sourcing their initial inventory and supplies. While this may reduce the burden of researching and vetting suppliers, it also means franchisees may not be able to negotiate better prices or use local suppliers with whom they have existing relationships. It is important for potential franchisees to review the list of approved suppliers and understand the costs associated with purchasing from them to accurately assess their potential profitability.
It is also important to note that Face Foundrie can change the list of approved or designated suppliers, or terminate existing approved or designated suppliers, and will notify franchisees of these changes. This means that franchisees must stay informed of any updates to the supplier list to ensure they remain in compliance with the franchise agreement.
