Can Face Foundrie protected territories overlap?

Face_Foundrie Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Except as noted below, as long as you are in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, we will not operate a Facial Bar or grant to a third party the right to operate a Facial Bar within your Territory. Protected territories may overlap, but we will not approve anyone opening or operating a FACE FOUNDRIÉ facial bar within the protected territory given to another facial bar.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, protected territories may overlap. However, Face Foundrie states that it will not approve anyone opening or operating a Face Foundrie facial bar within the protected territory granted to another facial bar.

This means that while the geographical boundaries of protected territories might share some common areas, Face Foundrie aims to prevent direct competition between franchisees within those overlapping zones. This could occur in densely populated areas or locations with complex geographical features where drawing distinct, non-overlapping territories is challenging.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the specifics of their territory and any potential overlap with other franchisees. While Face Foundrie intends to prevent direct competition, the possibility of shared boundaries could still lead to some level of market overlap or perceived competition. Franchisees should discuss territory details thoroughly with Face Foundrie to clarify expectations and understand how potential overlaps are managed in practice.
