Can I operate a Face Foundrie Facial Bar without site inspection and acceptance?

You cannot operate a Facial Bar without our inspection and acceptance of the site for the Facial Bar. (Section 3.01 of the Franchise Agreement)
- (b) Provide consent to (once it meets our standards and requirements) the lease, sublease or purchase agreement for your Facial Bar site.
You must submit to us all information and other data about the proposed Facial Bar site that we reasonably request.
- (g) We reserve the right to conduct on-site inspections during the construction of your Facial Bar as we deem appropriate, and we reserve the right to require you to pay us our then-current fee for such inspections and reimburse us our out-of-pocket expenses that we incur in conducting such inspections, including costs of transportation, lodging, and meals. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, you cannot operate a Facial Bar without the franchisor's inspection and acceptance of the site. Before opening a Face Foundrie Facial Bar, the franchisor must provide consent to the lease, sublease, or purchase agreement for the site, but the franchisee is responsible for selecting the site.
The site must meet Face Foundrie's criteria, including demographic characteristics, traffic patterns, parking, the character of the neighborhood, competition, size, appearance, and other physical and commercial characteristics. The franchisee must submit all requested information and data about the proposed site to Face Foundrie for approval.
Face Foundrie also reserves the right to conduct on-site inspections during the construction of your Facial Bar as they deem appropriate. They also reserve the right to require you to pay their then-current fee for such inspections and reimburse their out-of-pocket expenses, including costs of transportation, lodging, and meals.
