What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain abuse and molestation coverage with limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. This insurance requirement is part of a broader set of minimum insurance coverages that Face Foundrie mandates for its franchisees.
In addition to abuse and molestation coverage, Face Foundrie requires franchisees to have comprehensive general liability insurance with limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the general aggregate. They must also carry all risks coverage for the full repair and replacement value of all property, equipment, furniture, fixtures, and supplies used in the Facial Bar, with a deductible no more than $1,000. Furthermore, franchisees need worker's compensation and professional liability insurance with limits of at least $1,000,000, along with any other insurance required by law.
While Face Foundrie specifies these minimum insurance requirements, the FDD also notes that franchisees may want to obtain greater coverage. The cost of insurance will vary depending on factors such as the insurance carrier's charges, the terms of payment, and the franchisee's insurance history. Face Foundrie also recommends that franchisees obtain cyber liability insurance with coverage of at least $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate.
